Advanced Coastal Technologies (ACT) is an erosion control company which began over 27 years ago with experimental installations of subsurface, Geotextile, sand-filled containers. These containers have proven to be very effective in protecting upland coastal property from storm surge erosion. The installations, many completed 20 years ago, have multiple success stories and continue to provide the protection for which they were designed.
